Ways to make money on the Internet

By Jakob Jelling

People are continuously searching for ways to make money on the Internet. There are many programs that you can use to make money on the internet.

There are many legitimate paid survey websites that can allow you to make money on the Internet. A lot of companies are willing to pay money to get people to take their surveys. Marketing is important for any company and therefore they are willing to allocate resources from their budget to find out what their customers want.

Most of these sites however send only 2 or 3 surveys every year. Therefore it is advisable to join as many sites as possible to make any decent amount of money on the Internet.

Paid to read programs have been popular for a while to make money on the Internet. What you do is sign up for an account at their site. Then you get e-mail from them which contain a link to an advertiser’s site. When you click on the link and wait for a period of time, you are paid into your account. The amount per click differs from site to site.

Some paid to read e-mail programs make it impossible to earn any money by setting high minimum amounts to get paid. However some even have a no-minimum policy where you can withdraw your earnings at any time.

Another way to make money on the internet is through paid to surf programs. Paid to surf websites pay you to keep their ad bar visible on your computer screen while you surf the internet. Different programs offer different per hour rates of earnings.

After being popular for some time, paid to surf programs have largely died out. These sites have become notorious for not making payments to their members. You are better off staying away from these programs.

None of these programs will make you a multi-millionaire overnight. However if you join plenty of sites and stick to the best ones, you can end up making a bit of extra income every month.

To get paid from these online programs that allow you to make money on the Internet, you should open up an online payment account. Some of the popular ones are:

  • PayPal
  • E-gold
  • StormPay

While some programs may allow you to withdraw your earnings through a pay check, there are usually high fees associated with this method. Online payment processors are usually reliable and do not have high fees per transaction, so are ideal to collect all money you have made on the Internet.

Scam alert

While searching for programs online to make money on the Internet, you need to be aware of the multitudes of scam out there. If people are asking for high fees to join there program and offering great returns for joining, they might just be trying to scam you out of your money. By researching any program before you pay to join, you can reduce the chances of getting scammed.
